Filled with photos of adorable local pets and heartwarming quotes, these make great gifts for the holiday season - hostess gifts, teacher gifts, or for any animal lover!

All proceeds go to support programs and services provided by the Roanoke Valley SPCA.

The Pet Calendar is a major fundraiser for the RVSPCA, providing the funds necessary for food, shelter, medical care and TLC for the thousands of homeless and unwanted animals who call our shelter "home" while they wait for a new family to find them.

As you may have guessed from our namesake, we love dogs!

Show your support for Roanoke’s public dog park by purchasing a
commemorative brick this holiday season in honor of a beloved pet or person. Proceeds from brick sales will fund future construction at the dog park, including additional benches and landscaping, walking paths, an informational kiosk and paved parking.

The Vic Thomas Park and bridge to Wasena Park are officially OPEN!

There was a great turnout at today's ribbon cutting ceremony for the Vic Thomas Park and bridge to Wasena Park! We are thrilled that folks can now easily hop, skip and jump over to Black Dog Salvage easily from the Roanoke Greenway!

Mayor Bowers and the family of Vic Thomas were on hand to cut the ribbon.

Many thanks to the Grandin Village Business Association for providing the refreshments!
