Happy Holidays from Tarka & Moses!

Thought I'd share our holiday photo for this year :)
Andrew & I have held back from sending pictures of
our furry children but we could not resist this one!

Our pups, Tarka and Moses, miraculously posed for this photo
for Kevin Hurley Photography's - 'Quick Takes Pets'.
The event benefited the
Roanoke Dog Park, Roanoke Valley SPCA and Saint Francis Service Dogs.
Many thanks to Kevin & his team for their continued community support.

Kevin's been a long time friend of Black Dog Salvage,
you may even recognize a few Black Dog props in his gallery!
One of our favorite shots is of this brave bride here in our parking lot (not sure I would have sat on those chairs in a white dress!).

If you are in need of family photos or capturing a special event,
they are the team to call!
Click HERE for the blog, HERE for the website
and HERE to be their friend!

Happy Holidays!

Snow Day!

Thought I'd share a few pictures Mike took this morning
when he ventured out to plow our lot. Wish I had a picture of him in the Bobcat - looked like he was having fun playing in the snow! Thankfully, he made it home safe & sound from his trip back from Charlotte yesterday. The roads were (and still are) a mess. For more information about the storm, click HERE
We received a terrific snow storm last night in Roanoke, with the most snow we've seen in a decade. We closed the shop today but will be back on Monday with our extended Holiday Open House!
