The Home of Stickley - Appraisals today at Reid's Fine Furnishings!

The fine folks from Stickley just stopped by on their way to Reid's Fine Furnishings.

What: This Stickley corporate historian traverses the country looking for and evaluating pieces of furniture built during the company's 107-year history. He will discuss craftsmanship techniques used in furniture construction today, comparing it to the skills used years ago. A regular resource for The Antiques Roadshow, Mike is filled with exciting stories of hidden treasure

Sidewalk Art Show THIS WEEKEND, Saturday 6/5 and Sunday 6/6

Celebrating its 52nd year, the annual Sidewalk Art Show is this weekend:
Saturday, June 5th 10am-5pm
Sunday, June 6th 11am - 5pm
Admission is FREE

The Taubman Museum of Art’s Sidewalk Art Show is one of the largest art shows on the East Coast. The juried show features original artwork from prominent artists whose work can usually be seen in galleries and private collections, as well as work by lesser known local and regional artists. Items for sale include oils, pastels, watercolors, mixed media, graphics, photography, sculpture, and jewelry.

2010 Greater Roanoke Valley Race for the Cure - This Saturday



Roanoke is hosting its first Race for the Cure this weekend!

Koiner & I are proud to be part of the team Friends for a Cure,
in honor of our friend and Black Dog artist, Carolyn Hornick (pictured above, left) and many other friends and family affected by breast cancer.

There is still time to register and/or donate (just click on 'Friends for a Cure' above). While the cause is overwhelming, this event is incredibly uplifting and a great way to start your weekend!

We opened this morning and had a chance to clear the parking lot.
We're taking a snow break and are closing for the day.
