Antique Old World Wrought Iron - updates to our Ebay Store!

Thought I'd share some outtakes from our recent
iron photo shoot... it's always tricky shooting in bright sun but we made it work.
I love these reflections!

We are in the process of reorganizing our back yard and will
be adding new iron listings to our Ebay Store weekly.

It's no small feat to literally move, tag and document
tons of iron... but we hope it will help folks find the perfect
gate, railing or decorative panel!

Antique Wrought Iron - Driveway Gates, Garden Gates, Wine Cellar Doors

A few years back,

we received over 200 TONS of

Antique Wrought Iron

salvaged from Egypt

Nine flatbeds total.

Between 100 - 200 years old,

this iron is very high quality -

hot banded & rivited -

sure to last at least another 100 years.

We still have many styles & sizes available

with an onsite metal shop ready to

take on any project.

In honor of Spring,

I thought I'd share some of our

favorite antique wrought iron projects.

See this earlier blog for the 'before'

pictures of the iron shown above.

The iron gates above were

fabricated for the wine cellar at

Potomac Point Vineyard & Winery.

This was originally 2 panels and an arched transom.

Our craftsman combined them into

a seamless pair of double gates.

This balcony was made from a salvaged

balcony rail and framed with new iron.

Stunning gates & side panels.

The next few pictures show

salvaged 1920s window guards

incorporated into railings

at Deepak Chopra's

Center for Living.

This one is harder to see...

large 6' x 6' panels were used

to create this backdrop in the garden

of photographer Simon Yao's studio.

And a simply elegant balcony rail

designed for a client in Washington, DC.

Antique Wrought Iron Driveway Gates

A few years back, we imported a treasure trove of Antique Wrought Iron from Egypt... over 200 tons in all...

We believe it came mainly from Cairo, where there was a French Quarter that was recently renovated.

The iron is very high quality - nearly 100-200 years old and it will surely last at least another 100 years.

Our skilled craftsman continue to create beautiful items from this imported iron: console tables, dining tables, decorative wall accents, garden gates... just to mention a few...
