House Tour: A New Old Lake House on Smith Mountain Lake - Design/Build by Blue Ridge Residential

We're excited to showcase this 'New Old House' located on Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia. This lakeside retreat was designed and built by Robert Kulp, owner of Blue Ridge Residential (and co-owner of Black Dog Salvage). Robert and his team did a beautiful job creating a home that feels like its been there forever, while including today's modern conveniences.

Enjoy the tour, you might recognize a few Black Dog finds.

In honor of FloydFest, we've named our new foster puppy... you guessed it, Floyd!

This sweet boy was left at Animal Control with his litter mates. They are now all in foster care through the Roanoke Valley SPCA and will be available for adoption in two weeks.

While we don't have any history on Floyd, we can already tell he'd make a great companion!

16 ft wide mirror salvaged from Angler's Cafe Restaurant

Roanokers may recognize this mirror...

this 16 ft wide mirror was originally hung in the former Angler's Cafe in downtown Roanoke.

Note the stained glass sidelights in the center and on each end.
